This page is here to help you newcomers to Teamspeak learn how to register with our Teamspeak server. This page has pictures that help you with your tutorial on how to register with the Soldiers of Legend Server. Before the Tutorial begins though, please red the Rules for our Teamspeak. Rule 1) Do not namechange.
Rule 2) Do not flame.
Rule 3) Respect other SoL.
Rule 4) All LoL are required to wear the [-SoL-] tags in Teamspeak.
Rule 5) Teamspeak is optional. You do not need to have Teamspeak to be a member.
Rule 6) Do not create or edit any Channels without the CO or XO’s permission.
With these rules said, We will start with the Tutorial. 
THE TEAMSPEAK VIEWER SYSTEM
This is the Teamspeak Viewer System. From here, you can view all the rooms and who is online the Teamspeak. The T.S.V.S. gives you all the information that you need to know. The name of the server, the Server IP, etc…The Teamspeak Viewer System is a replica in format as of the Teamspeak Server. The layout of Channels and Member Statuses (R) (SA) are shown as well.NOTE: Depending on your cookie settings, it might not reload up-to-date information every time you go to this page. so be sure to Right Click and Refresh the T.S.V.S. | | CONNECTION
As you open up Teamspeak, you see a blank screen with the ***Welcome to Teamspeak 2 *** on the bottom and a row of bars up at the top. To start, click on the Connection bar and click of Connect. This will open up a window that you can use as an address book for several different servers.Below Connect, there is a Quick Connect tab. This is probably the fastest way to connect, but if you plan on using more than just 1 server, it is best to click on Connect that way your information can be saved. | | CONNECT TO SERVER / ADDRESS BOOK
This is the Connect To Server Window that opens up when you click on the “Connect” Tab. It is a little confusing at first, but it is easy to understand. As you open the Window, there is a Servers Tab in the left window. This is where your Address Book of Servers will be. And this is where your access information to the Soldiers of Legend Teamspeak will be too.To Add a server, RIGHT CLICK the window and click Add Server. This will pop up a Directory underneath the tab that you can name. It can be anything you want, just make sure you know it is the Soldiers of Legend Teamspeak and not someone else. | | ADDING A SERVER
After adding the server, you will have to name it. I have named it [-SoL-]Teamspeak. Underneath the Label, you will put the IP to the server which is listed as: ts.soldiersoflegend.com Copy and Paste that IP into the Server Address bar in the Window. Next, you will have to have a nickname that people will see you as. If you do not put down a nickname, then you will enter the server as Guest1. As said in Rule 7, if you come in as Guest, you will be banned. So the best is to give yourself the Nickname. The [ ] doesnt work on Teamspeak, so use the | button instead. If you do not know the button it is SHIFT + \. All Soldiers of Legend members are required to have thier full tags on if they use the Soldiers of Legend Teamspeak. |-SoL-|Rank-Name Because you are new, you will not have a Login Name or Password yet. So after all the information above is filled, Push the CONNECT Button. | | UNREGISTERED ACCESS TO TEAMSPEAK
As you enter the Server, you will appear as your Nickname and with a (U) next to your name. This identifies you as Un-Registered. So you will have to get a Server Admin (SA) to give you access to register.Once you find a (SA) that can give you access to Register, you will be given a notice on the bottom of Teamspeak that you have been Given access to Register. | | REGISTERING TO TEAMSPEAK
Now it is time to register to the Teamspeak. After you have been given access to Register, Click Self on the top of the Window and Click on Register With Server.Once you click on it, it will pop-up a Window asking for you to create a Login Name and Password.For the Login Name, it doesnt have to be your name with the tags, just something small and simple. Same with the password. You do not need to make your Login Name the tags that you have in Nickname because you use the Nickname to appear with the tags.If you do not understand how, then one of the Server Admins can Register for you. Underneath the Register with Server is a “Admin Register Player With Server” Button. This is a button given only to the Server Admin and can create an account while registered.This process is small and fast, so it shouldnt be too long. If you had the Server Admin Register you, he will give you your Login Name and Password and then you will put those into the Connect Page that we viewed earlier in the Tutorial. | | REGISTERED ACCESS TO TEAMSPEAK
And with that, you are Registered to the Server. You will be able to move outside of the Default Channel and be able to have your name protected from Namechangers. One of the reason we have people in the Soldiers of Legend register with the server is so we know someone is not a namechanger and getting access to LoL stuff like that. Just make sure that you DISCONNECT before you are done. Sometimes, Teamspeak has a tendancy to delete your account if you Register yourself because you click the X Button instead of Disconnecting first.
